Kristin Elliott Leas
Kristin was born and raised in Westbrook, CT on Half House Farm, an 85 acre Thoroughbred Hanoverian farm where she and her family have bred, raised, and trained horses for competition and pleasure. She has been riding horses since the age of 3, and is an HA graduate of Connecticut Valley Pony Club. She has competed through preliminary level in eventing in the Northeast.
Kristin has over 25 year of experience training horses. She instructs children and adults from beginners to advanced and helps all riders achieve their goals.
She graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a BS degree in Dairy and Animal Science. She has completed her advance level certification from PATH International (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International).
Today, Kristin has four horses and still resides in Westbrook, CT in a house she built with her husband Mark and their two dogs, and one cat.
